The 'Magic" Of Giving...and Receiving 

We've all heard the sayings, "You reap what you sow." "You get what you give." "What goes around comes around." And these sayings are true. What energy and focus you send out into the world you will receive back in some way.

Let's look at some of the 'magical' benefits you receive when you give from the heart...

When you volunteer to help other people or animals or good causes with your time and money something changes in your thoughts and feelings. You feel good about it deep in your heart.

When you freely share it triggers an emotional response within you. It opens up a 'door' within you and allows you to peel away some of the layers of hardness in your heart. You become more aware of your 'inner self' and you strengthen your 'emotional self.' You add to your character. You grow as a person. Sharing is a part of human nature.

The amount of time and money you share is not important. What is important is that your contribution is from your heart.

Obviously, if you're a millionaire you can contribute much more than the person who doesn't earn much money. If you can only share a dollar and this gift is from your heart it's power is just as strong as the person who is able to contribute $50,000 to a charity. Both will receive the benefits.

Never give with the expectation of getting something in return. When you share it must be unconditional. Give because you feel it's the right thing to do. Give without caring if anyone notices, except you. And give without expecting a thank you. When you do this you will receive back much more than you contributed.

The 'magic' of giving attracts more abundance to you and allows you to share even more. It's a beautiful natural progressive cycle. The natural law of polarity tells that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. When you share unconditionally you are activating this law and you will 'attract' much more abundance in your life to again distribute to others.

When you share from your heart, with no conditions, it will be like angels came and blessed with you more to share even though you didn't ask for anything. You will wonder how you always seem to have something more to contribute.

Your contributions may not always involve time and money. When you offer someone a kind word or help them with a problem or encourage them in any way you are activating the 'magical' power of giving. Many people just do this naturally but if you don't then consciously make an effort to help others every chance you get. You will not only be helping them, you will be helping yourself reap great rewards.

I knew a man years ago who earned a very high income as an executive in a well known company. He always gave a full 10% of his pre-tax income to his church and another 10% to good causes he believed in. That's 20% of his entire substantial income!

I couldn't understand why he would do this at the time. It was a huge amount of money, more than I made in a year. I now fully understand why he shared so much. This man would continually be offered positions of advancement in his field. His income seemed to skyrocket every couple of years or so. He always lived in a big, beautiful home and his family had everything they wanted. He understood the more he shared with others unconditionally the more he would personally have to share in the future.

If you want to have more money in your life, then share more money with those who need it. If you want to have more love and affection in your life, then give more love and affection to others. If you want to be more successful, help someone less fortunate become successful. If you want to learn more about how to live an abundant, wealthy, happy life then help them learn what you are learning here.

In addition to understanding giving, it is imperitive that you understand how to receive also. Believe it or not, the majority of the general population are NOT good 'receivers.'

You would think everyone would gladly receive any and all abundance that comes their way, but this is not the case. Many people have 'limiting beliefs' in their sub-conscious that block them from receiving abundance. They have underlying feelings of "I don't deserve it" or "I'm not good enough" or "That can't happen for me."

And most of us are not even aware of these 'hidden beliefs.' And until we can raise our energy levels and have self-confidence and self-esteem and understand our inner selves we may unconsciously block abundance from coming into our lives. By simply becoming 'aware' that you may have these limiting beliefs you can work to recognize and uncover them by asking yourself questions, and then you can eliminate and overcome them.

Recognize that there is unlimited abundance in the world for all of us, and you deserve to have your share of it. Whenever you have an opportunity to 'receive' take full advantage of it with joy in your heart.

Consciously 'allow' yourself to become a 'good receiver.'
